American Realtime Court Reporters in Japan

It is quite common for thousands of pages of exhibits to be marked during intellectual property depositions. The obligation to provide the witness and opposing counsel with a copy of each exhibit can be not only cost prohibitive but also time-consuming for a law firm to print, package and ship from the U.S. to Japan.
If you need to have voluminous documents available in Japan during your depositions, here are your options:
1: Bring one copy with you on the plane and ask your hotel to copy them at their exhorbitant price per page.
2: Bring one copy with you on the plane and copy them yourself at a local copy center. Note, however, that typically both the staff and copy machines are Japanese language only at these centers.
3: Ship complete sets of exhibits at great expense and hope there will be no delay at Customs, which does happen from time to time.
4: Send the documents to us electronically through our secure FTP server (password protected). We'll print out as many copies as you need and deliver them to your hotel or the deposition location for less.
Avoid exorbitant photocopying costs,
shipping costs and
Customs issues entirely.
